Whose job is it?

Ever heard the story of the four people? I’ve read it before, and have heard it told before. Several times, actually. And today, it popped up at the bulletin board at work. A silent protest by an unhappy employee?

Perhaps…. but it sure sums up things nicely…

Whose Job Is It?

This is a story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.  There was an important job to be done and Everybody was asked to do it.  Everybody was sure Somebody would do it.  Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.

Somebody got angry about that, because it was Everybody’s job.  Everybody thought Anybody could do it but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn’t do it.  It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

This is very much applicable to the current situation with global warming. Everyone thinks that someone else is responsible!

LOL Oh my…I’ve heard this story before. It’s a reminder of how a lot of people function in our society. “It’s not my job, man”. If we could only work together, imagine the possibilities!
